Basic Manners

We offer Basic Manners classes which are held in Cambridge.
We have 4 intakes each year, and each class runs for 6 weeks. Basic Manners classes are $120 for the 6 weeks. Dogs are required to be registered and vaccinated.
Some of the things covered during the 6 weeks:
- Relationship building between you and your dog
- Sit
- Down
- Come/Recall
- Loose lead walking
- Stay
- Wait
- Meeting & Greeting
- Basic manners
- Socialising
- Any questions you may have or issues you might be struggling with
Foundation Agility
This class is the first class to begin introducing Agility skills.
We have 4 intakes a year, and each class runs for 8 weeks. Foundation Agility classes are $160 for the course.
Some of the things covered are:
- Flat work foundation agility
- Introduction to equipment (with no jumping for young dogs)
All dogs must have attended a Basic Manners class and be at least 8 months old before they can attend this class.
Agility Training
Agility classes are held on Tuesday nights. The different classes are listed below and we welcome new members who would like to try out agility to come along and give it a go.
Beginners
Open to dogs from 12 months with foundation agility skills. “Manners” and “Basic agility” class attendance recommended and preferred.
Starters
For dogs over 18 months with adequate control off lead, able to complete small sequences (6-8 obstacles) off lead and under control, able to complete 6 weaves and all other starters obstacles to one level below competition height.
Novice
For dogs over 18 months with good control off lead, able to complete full length novice level course (15-18 obstacles) at full height including dog walk, a frame and 12 weaves.
Senior
Dogs competing at Intermediate level or higher at shows or at the committees discretion if a member has a clash due to teaching commitments of another class for the club.
